Eight personal AI agents worth watching (and where the rest live).
Personal AI agents stopped being a keynote slide. In the last few months I kept seeing the same shape over and over: text an agent, connect your apps, and it actually books, emails, shops, or pokes you when something needs a yes.
Meta shipped Muse. xAI shipped Grok Bot. Instinct raised into the hundreds of millions. Town took a Series A from a16z. Poke turned Messages into the interface. I was bookmarking launch posts and losing the thread.
So I built Agenthunt, a small directory of Instinct-style personal action agents. Launch month when I can find it, funding when it is public, updated twice a day. No scorecards. Just the products people are actually trying to live with.
Here are eight that are on my short list right now.
Grok Bot (Aug 2026) sits on its own computer, runs your apps, and only pings you when it needs approval. xAI's latest disclosed round was $20B.
Muse (Sep 2026) is Meta's personal agent across the app, web, and WhatsApp. I already wrote about the day-one receipts here.
Instinct (Aug 2026) is the loudest personal-action bet in the category. Raised $350M. The privacy debates showed up the same week.
Town (Jun 2026) learns how you work, then gets to work. Raised $55M Series A led by a16z.
Poke (Mar 2026) lives where you already text: Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram. Raised $25M before Cognition acquired the company.
Lindy has been at this longer than the 2026 wave. Email, Slack, scheduling, cross-app workflows. Raised $50M across rounds.
Catch (Sep 2026) came out of stealth for admin work: scheduling, email, calls. Raised $5M.
Boski (Sep 2026) is a newer personal agent pitched as always-on goal chasing. Founder launch post:
Those eight are the tip. The other forty-ish live on Agenthunt with the same launch and funding fields when I can verify them, and a blank when I cannot.

If you are shipping a personal agent that does real work for one person, I want it on the list.
