The most interesting & ambitious things built on GPT-6 Astra (so far)
GPT-6 Astra shipped, and I hunted it on Product Hunt the same week.
Then the timeline lit up in that familiar way: builders posting demos faster than anyone could bookmark them.
People started making ridiculous things. Playable games. Three.js worlds. Blender houses. Unreal civilizations. PostHog dashboards that assemble themselves across three browser tabs while you watch.
I wrote up the hunt separately (I hunted GPT-6 Astra. It went #1 on Product Hunt.). This post is the other half: a curated compilation of the most interesting and ambitious builds I saw in the first couple of days.
Nothing here is ranked. I grouped them by theme so you can skim for what you care about. Links go to the original posts, plus a couple of official OpenAI showcases.
If you prefer filters, there's a live directory too: built-on-astra-kp.netlify.app
Games
I'm in disbelief right now. 12 months ago I remember making flappy bird with AI in 2-3 prompts and being blown away.

Now it can make a call of duty game. One that's actually fun… I played for like 2 hours.
Astra (GPT-6) is here!!!
— Matthew Berman (@MatthewBerman) September 4, 2026
I've had early access and tested it like crazy with the wildest demos.
GPT-6 Astra is cracked at making games.

This runs in the browser with three.js. It even modeled the cars in Blender.
The next GTA will be made by AI.
GPT-6 Astra is world class at Blender and 3 dimensional reasoning. This was a 1-shot.

Void Explorer / Sunwake / Hollowflux (OpenAI Developers). Official showcase: Void Explorer (Three.js WebGPU), Sunwake ocean boat, Hollowflux 2D RPG.

Building games with Astra (Three.js + WebGPU) (OpenAI Developers). TypeScript/Vite, Three.js node materials / TSL, terrain workers.
3D / Blender / Unreal
My first holy shit moment with GPT-6 Astra:
— Matt Shumer (@mattshumer_) September 4, 2026
I asked it to create a world in Unreal…
Astra is very good at 3D modeling, and I can't wait for all of you to experience it.
— Dimillian (@dimillian) September 4, 2026
GPT-6 Astra is a beast. Give it a Zillow listing. It can 3D model the house based on the photos.
— Yunfan Ye (@realYunfanYe) September 4, 2026
GPT-6 Astra just vibe-coded the Oval Office in 3D.
— Higgsfield (@higgsfield_ai) September 4, 2026
We described the set design…
So how good really is GPT-6 Astra at 3D modeling? I took an old drawing of a steam train…
— Tom Krcha (@tomkrcha) September 4, 2026
GPT-6 Astra models a house in Blender and turns it into a walkable scene in Unreal Engine 5.
— AngryTom (@AngryTomtweets) September 4, 2026
Hey Astra, make me a Mac app. It should render a 3D iPod that you'll build in Blender…
— Stefano (@skirano) September 4, 2026
Architecture & Art
Solace house + HELIOS + Shipyard + Giverny (OpenAI Developers). Official archviz: cinematic Blender house, UE5 walkthrough, Dyson sphere, cruiser, Monet garden.
Agents & Computer Use
This is GPT-6 Astra.

Anything you can do on a computer, Astra can do for you. Fast.
GPT-6 Astra is here (and I'm obsessed)
— Claire Vo (@clairevo) September 4, 2026
I was able to test this model early…
GPT-6 Astra is our best model yet for computer use, software engineering, and visual understanding.

Analytics & Dashboards
Holy Sh*t! GPT-6-Astra just built my product analytics dashboards in the most superhuman way possible!

What I'm taking away
We already knew AI can write code. That part stopped being surprising a while ago.
What got me watching these demos on loop is how Astra closes the loop. You play the thing, complain about one detail, get a new build, and play again (sometimes in the same session). Riley Brown's COD-style demo is the clearest version of that. Akarsh's PostHog dashboards are the work version of the same idea: less babysitting, more “fix it while I watch.”
If you're building in public right now and you're not stress-testing Astra on the hardest thing on your plate.. you're leaving free momentum on the table.
Got a wild Astra build I missed? Reply on @thisiskp_ and I'll add it.
