How Puvvada Pages came to life

I wanted my sons to be able to say an idea out loud and get a coloring page to print a few seconds later. The front end is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no framework: one search style input box that suggests new ideas based on past pages, a mic button for voice input, and a model picker. The back end runs on Netlify Functions, with a background function doing the image work. Images come from Netlify AI Gateway, using Gemini Flash Lite by default, with other Gemini and OpenAI image models behind a family passcode. Pages and daily limits are stored in Netlify Blobs, so there is no database to break into. Every idea goes through a word filter and a kid safety check before anything gets drawn, and each visitor gets a small number of pages a day. I built it by talking to Grok Bot, my personal AI agent. I described what I wanted in plain English, and Grok Bot wrote the code, deployed it to Netlify, locked it down against scripts and abuse, and fixed bugs as my kids found them.
