Happiness is a choice.

Happiness is not a destination.

And like love, it’s a choice.

It is an active verb like struggle or breathe.

You don’t simply breathe once and expect to live the rest of the day on that. You have to repeat the action.

The same applies to happiness.

Happiness can sometimes correlate to accomplishments but that is not the only way to experience it.

You may NOT accomplish anything brag-worthy in the day yet choose to feel happy by training your mind to focus on the most important vectors of life.

To me, love and forgiveness are two such important vectors.

Mathematically, vectors have a direction. The same way, love and forgiveness when directed towards a person or a community always result in happiness to me. What are your vectors that result in happiness? What are new ways you can find happiness today?
