Leadership can't be learnt.
For people who wish to be leaders, here’s the bad news:
You can’t be taught into being a leader.
You simply can’t. No matter how much you have paid for that weekend leadership seminar, it won’t work. Because unlike many other skills, leadership is an ethic. It’s not a one-off ability that you can train a part of your brain over and over and get better. It is a philosophy. It is a life-style.
And the good news is: You can become a leader.
Well, you ask how? By not simply learning the rules, but following them and at times breaking them because the situation demands. A leader has his own set of principles based on the circumstances he is in. He has his own ethos of life.
