Finding the solution isn't the hardest...
Sometimes, finding the problem is.
A lot of things in life are taken by a lot of us for granted.
We say to ourselves and others, “That works this way. This works that way.” And we spare no more creative energy in questioning the norm.
Research is about finding solutions. Yes. But that’s almost always the easy part. Nobel prize-level groundbreaking research is usually based around a problem no one has ever imagined before. So, identifying which problem to solve is usually the tougher nut to crack.
Pause before you plunge right ahead into your work next time. Are you digging through an already answered question? Then, may be it is time to frame a new question. Go where no one’s imagination has gone so far. Bring that to the main-stream discussion and solve it!
