Conviction is Contagious.
Maya Angelou, a famous civil-rights activist once quipped,
“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.”
A close friend of mine testified this incredible principle today, not just by words, but by action. After meeting with an unbelievable accident, he came back home luckily unscathed. Yet he didn’t let his spirit die from the trauma of the event.
As promised, he wrote a blogpost on his blog, continuing his self-imposed challenge to write something interesting daily.
I started “Be the Purple Cow” in a similar fashion, about 294 days ago. And haven’t given up on it yet.
Surely, conviction is contagious. No, not mine. His.
His impeccable contagious has sprinkled new strength in me to do more.
To take this journey longer than I can imagine. Thank you Bharat!
